Hatfield Farm, Nova Scotia

Hatfield Farm located in Hammonds Plains Rd. near Halifax NS Canada.

I took the family this sunny Saturday to visit the place.

In their website they mention that there is a wagon ride on Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 to 1:00, but they forget to mention few things:

1. The wagon depart at 11:00 and that’s it, no more rides, it comes back at 1:00 so if you want to use it you better be there before 11:00

2.The mini-golf, , Fort Clayton and Rubber rodeo that are the main attraction are accessible only by taking the wagon ride, you cannot go there by foot or with your car

And we went there at around 12:00 :(

Anyway, there’s a small playground for the kids and a petting zoo with donkeys, pigs, alpaca and goats that we liked very much. the kids played there and pet the friendly animals (I love the goats!), and enjoyed the sunny November day.

More info about the farm you will find in their website – Hatfield Farm.

Enjoy the pictures.

Walking

Worldwide Photo walk 2010 / Pride Parade Halifax

I joined the worldwide photo walk 2010, Scott Kelby’s third Photo walk. this year 900 groups and 32,000 people from all over the word participate in it!

You can read more about it at the photo walk website.

The pictures I took were shot at the Farmer’s Market (a week before it moves to it’s new location), Spring garden RD. and at Barrington St. where the annual Pride Parade took place.

Hope you enjoy.

Ross Farm, Nova Scotia.

“Ross Farm Museum is a window into the past of Nova Scotia’s rich agricultural history” (Ross Farm Museum)

If you want to see how they lived in Noca Scotia 200 years ago this place is a must. You will see people dresses like they did the old days, Making food, cloths and more exactly as they used to do back then.

I wish that my pictures would transfer some of the feelings I had when I was visiting there.
