It was a lovely sunny day today in Halifax -6 but lots of sun so we decided to go to Hatfield Farm again, wev’e been there in the summer & heard that during the winter they sleigh rides, something that the kids would love for sure.
And they did
Enjoy the pictures!

This is a small hiking trail around the small Frog Pond Lake, It’s part of the Sir Sanford Flemming park.
(From the site trailpeak)

Hatfield Farm located in Hammonds Plains Rd. near Halifax NS Canada.
I took the family this sunny Saturday to visit the place.
In their website they mention that there is a wagon ride on Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 to 1:00, but they forget to mention few things:
1. The wagon depart at 11:00 and that’s it, no more rides, it comes back at 1:00 so if you want to use it you better be there before 11:00
2.The mini-golf, , Fort Clayton and Rubber rodeo that are the main attraction are accessible only by taking the wagon ride, you cannot go there by foot or with your car
And we went there at around 12:00
Anyway, there’s a small playground for the kids and a petting zoo with donkeys, pigs, alpaca and goats that we liked very much. the kids played there and pet the friendly animals (I love the goats!), and enjoyed the sunny November day.
More info about the farm you will find in their website – Hatfield Farm.
Enjoy the pictures.

Few pictures I took during the weekend at the Citadel Hill

A week ago we went to pick up blueberries, a fun and tasty experience to the all family.
The name of the place is “between the bushes”, it has a very good restaurant too that serves dishes that are made with local ingredients, delicious!
After the picking we went to the tangled gardens at Grand Pre, a really nice place with herbs that are grown in-house, and delicious jellies that are made out of those herbs.
Enjoy
